Bus Adapters

Special Function AMCs
As the range of applications for AdvancedMC™, MicroTCA™ and AdvancedTCA® continues to grow, new and specialized modules will inevitable need to be designed. Some of these cards may not fit neatly into existing I/O categories. Our GPS clock AdvancedMC™, for example, is a special function card which derives a clock signal from the Global Positioning System. This module is particularly useful for telecom network edge applications where there is no access to an accurate clock. Other specialized cards with unique functions will also be added to this category. -
Reflective Memory
Reflective Memory networks are Real Time Local Area Networks in which each computer always has an up-to-date local copy of the shared memory set. These specialty networks are specifically designed to provide highly deterministic data communications. They deliver the tightly timed performance necessary for a variety of distributed simulation and industrial control applications. Reflective Memory networks have benefited from advances in general-purpose data networks, but they remain an entirely independent technology, driven by different requirements and catering to applications where determinism, implementation simplicity, and a lack of software overhead are key factors. -

Fabric Interface

Modular Platforms

Our Audio PMCs are SoundBlaster®-compatible audio cards capable of interfacing to a single stereo line input, stereo auxiliary input, a microphone, and a mono input, as well as amplifier-driven stereo speaker outputs, hardware volume control, and a mono output.
